SOAK Rapid Recovery System Review

Recovery is just as important as how we fuel our bodies and how we train to reach the goals that are in front of us.

I was fortunate enough to review SOAK Rapid Muscle Recovery. In a nutshell, I strongly recommend that you add this to your training regimen. You can visit them www.soakfitness.com I would like to give special thanks to G and the staff at Soak Fitness for allowing me to review the product. You can click on the banner to the right of this page to access their website also.

The good: It works. I used all three applications: Hot bath soak, Ice Bath, and the ice massage. The SOAK Rapid Muscle Recovery comes in crystal form so it quickly dissolves in water. The scent is pleasant and not overbearing. I typically reserve ice baths or soaks for run days that are longer than 6 miles. However, when I received the product, I was recovering from cold/flu like symptoms. I noticed an immediate difference after the hot soak.
Since I’ve had two knee surgeries in 2001 and 2006, I have taken extra precaution in my running to build stronger hamstrings and quadriceps to support a healthier knee. Part of this process is to ice them daily to avoid inflammation. The Ice Massage method of SOAK Rapid Recovery was simple. I now have four cups in the freezer ready at all times for relief.

Convenience: The crystals came both in three individual pouches and a stand up container with a measured cup for distribution. Unfortunately, the company that handled my delivery dropped the box so my container was cracked. I simply poured those crystals into another container and was good to go. I set aside the individual portions to save for my road trip next weekend to run a half marathon in Orange Beach, AL.

Conclusion: Whether you are an ironman, cyclist, runner, walker, tennis player, gym buff, yoga guru, or any activity that pushes you to be stronger then I recommend SOAK Rapid Muscle Recovery System. How SOAK FITNESS described the recovery system:
Ingredients:
Magnesium Sulfate: Skin readily absorbs this salt and helps draw toxins from the cells of the body. This helps muscles relax. Magnesium aids in reducing inflammation in the muscles and relieves pain. It also helps the body bind serotonin, the chemical that promotes a sense of well-being and relaxation, materially shrinking an athlete’s recovery time.

Eucalyptus Oil: Health benefits of this essential oil include anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antibacterial, and stimulating properties. Extracted from the fresh leaves of the tall eucalyptus trees, this oil is analgesic and anti-inflammatory in nature. It also provides a cool and refreshing effect, which removes exhaustion and mental sluggishness.

Peppermint Oil: This essential oil contains numerous minerals and nutrients such as iron, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and copper. Peppermint oil helps in clearing the respiratory tract, relieving the body from stress and exhaustion, and improving blood circulation. The presence of calcium in the oil aids in removing pain and is cooling in nature. This oil also nourishes dull skin since it contains menthol.
The Mixture: The combination of the magnesium sulfate and essential oils provides an effect on the body unmatched by other products on the market. The Soak not only draws out toxins, but also replenishes fatigued muscles with minerals and nutrients that create rapid recovery. It not only provides relief to the body, but also the mind. The unique formula alleviates stress and gives you peace of mind that your body will not fail on your next training day.

I am a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. I am embracing the brokenness of my sin and sin nature, that apart from God through the work of Jesus Christ, I can do nothing. I am a work in progress surrounded by people who love the Lord. I want to know my story and be able to see Christ and myself in others.
